When you’ve added Smart Text and/or Variable images to your ID Card Design Template and have also added Members to your account, the Badge Maker will create an ID Card for each Member you select in your order!
Step by step guide to ordering your member ID Cards:
- Go to “My Designs” on IDCreator to access your Saved Designs.
- Select the Template design you want to Order for the Member, a Checkbox will appear to the left of the name of Template design you are choosing. (A template design can be identified with a certain number of Smart fields displayed in the table)
- On the bottom righthand side will appear the Green “Select Members” button.
- Click the Green “Select Members” button, and the My Members box will appear with all existing Members saved in the account.
- Select the Members you want to order.
- If the oncoming Member needs to be added to the account, use the “Add Member” option and enter the Member information into each column you plan on using in your template.
- If you are going to be adding an Image or Headshot follow these steps:
- Click the Green “Add” button for each Image Variable that you want to upload for the Member’s information (Headshot, Signature, Fingerprint, etc.).
- The Image will need to be in the following format ( .JPG, .jpg, .JPEG, .png)
- Click the Green “Add” button for each Image Variable that you want to upload for the Member’s information (Headshot, Signature, Fingerprint, etc.).
- Once all information is entered, click the “Save” button. (your added Members will now be uploaded to “My Members” and ready to be ordered for any Template)
- At the bottom of the My Members box is the Green “Add Member to Cart” button.
- Click the "Add Member To Cart" button option and you will be asked to Review your Members’ ID design for accuracy.
- Please Review each ID Card! Potential errors to look out for include; Sizing Issues (Longer Names etc.), Smart Text and Variable Image fields are not linked to the proper Member information.
- If there is an issue with any ID Card while reviewing, click "Cancel (Reject All)" and edit your Design Template to address the issue.
- Once you Approve All Member Designs, click the Green “Add to Cart” option to continue to the checkout page to place your order.
